Digital Touch
In the digital environment, materiality seems very abstract. You can move the windows on your desktop endlessly around, drag, touch, and stretch them. However, nothing, except for the exterior of the computer, gets old or shows any traces of use.
In the video installation, four physical materials are being tested by examining four different movements based on the movements we make while working on the computer. This is with the intention to refind material satisfaction.
