Ingredients of Arnhem
A project that is exploring a way to show the diversity of people living in the city of Arnhem. We built a data installation of Arnhem through food by using the official website “Arnhem in Numbers” to collect the percentages of different nationalities residing in the city. We asked all 40 nationalities to tell something about the ingredient they used most in their kitchen. The end result is a physical form of a Data Visualization, an olfactory experience and a conversation starter about the recognizable and the unknown.
