Oase#64 Landscape and Mass Tourism
The remake of the architecture issue Oase#64 about landscape and Mass tourism is designed in a way that the images lead the narrative.
Within each chapter a timeline of existing stills of a film showing informal footage, created by the tourists themselves, is combined with formal imagery that is explaining the context of the architectural projects. This contains images of the outside, inside and the public space.
Combining these four categories in the form of an image narrative, allows to show each project within a chapter, from multiple perspectives. By folding out pages, the textual narrative can be found.
The categories of imagery are distinguished by a difference in size, therefore, creating a landscape.
